All finishers will receive a race t-shirt, finisher's medal and goodie bag funded through local businesses. Photographers will be spread around the course to capture your smiling faces and photos will be made available shortly after the event has finished.

The race is also part of the Northants Road Running League, and for 2022 will be the Northamptonshire County Championship 10km Race. Please indicate when signing up if you wish to be entered into the county championships.

Race route

The race will begin at 10am on Eastern Way near Daventry Leisure Centre as runners head off towards the first subway at the end of the path, continuing straight across the island and through a second subway, emerging at the bottom of Ashby Road.

The first part of Ashby Road is a challenging 200 metre hill, before flattening back out as you reach The Parker Academy. At the end of Ashby Road runners will take a left turn onto the pavement and head up a gentle slope on the A361. Once you reach the roundabout, turn left again and head down Braunston Road. Take care crossing over the next roundabout, but our marshalls will be there to help control traffic.
At the bottom of Braunston Road, you will head through another subway where you'll find the water station. You'll then head off along the pavement on Leamington Way, with Cummins factory on your right hand side, dipping under another subway and up onto the Grange estate. This section of the course is on road, so please stick to the right hand side.

Continue to follow the road around the Grange until you reach our crossover point where a Marshall will direct you across the road and back onto the pavement.

At the end of Baby Road West, take another left and power up a short incline before enjoying a lovely downhill along Western Avenue. Shortly after you pass the 8km mark you'll reach the water station for a second time, heading back under the subway in the opposite direction and turning right, rejoining Braunston Road.
You're almost there now! As you crossover the road, head onto Chaucer Way and around the carpark that used to be the old outdoor swimming pool. Back through the subways that you came through at the start and up onto Eastern Way for fast and flat sprint finish!
